Henrik Ibsen, is a famous Norway dramatist of the19th century, but also a highly ethical thinker, and the creation of his plays are highly ethical values.The male image of Ibsen’s later plays are the main object of study,from the ethical point of view to interpreted the male image,and they are placed in the multiple dimensions of individual, family, social for ethical care, from its commitment to ethical identity and the ethical dilemmas encountered and experienced ethical pain to analyze, and then explore the ethical meaning and value of these male image..The article is divided into three parts, the first part, the male image is placed in the perspective of family, from this point of view of the father’s identity commitment to interpreted.The first is paternity has been established and continued in the family by the father identity in the patriarchal society.Moreover, Ibsen wrote the image of many fathers and the fathers and their children’s relationship.In this section, explain the three father types, these types of father image, both with different features, and links and development.They are both closely related to the specific social and historical environment, but also to Ibsen’s own identity in his own ethical thinking.Ibsen’s plays have a very complex ethical relations and disputes, the second part puts the male image on the relations between the sexes, to examine the ethical identity and the role of the male image undertaked,such as husband, lover, children,to explore these characteristics of the male image and the encounter, such as marital crises, love the plight of domestic imbalances ethical dilemma, and thus analysis of Ibsen’s own views on love, marriage, family and other ethical issues.First, the basic premise of the marriage are love and freedom, Ibsen’s plays to show us the male image ignore the true love,and then cause devastating pain.Furthermore, in the pursuit of self-realization, they should not only responsible for themselives, but to someone else.love dilemma and marital crisis are often due to too much focus on self-realization, or directly or indirectly, they become the executioner to strangle the happiness of others.Finally, the dialectical view of the child image and the marriage of happiness, child image reflects the relationship between husband and wife, the product of a traumatic childhood image is from unfortunate marriage, and further intensification of the relationship between husband and wife in the family and marriage, and also exposure to the many problems that exist in the marital problems.The third part is the ethical reflection of the male image, both to explore the meaning and value of the male image in three levels of the individual pursuit, marriage and family, and social significance, further analysis of the ethics connotation sourcesvof the male image of Ibsen later plays described.All in all, a common psychological traits of the male image in the plays of Ibsen is late-pain, the image of these men not only in a variety of traumatic events, but also in the choice of ethical identity and ethical dilemmas, showing the meaning of life and the pursuit.they inevitably marked by the stigma of Ibsen’s own life experiences, but more importantly they also placed Ibsen’s own aesthetic ideals and the construction of the family ethic.
