During the Ninety current development of Chinese contemporary painting, the Chinese artists, especially young artists draws heavily on concepts and language of modern Western art in the modern Western artistic concepts and language by grafting with modifications approach applied to artistic creation and integration of local elements symbol, while the use of such practices, the formation of diversification of styles, the concept of localization, the art market of new pattern.In the new pattern, how do we establish the value of Chinese contemporary art at the same time learn from the West? Second, the Contemporary paintings speculation on social problems and their own concerns and to re-examine a wide range of contemporary painting discourse resources. We are faced with a wide range of discourse resources and how to create a good Chinese-style discourse system? All of these are worth pondering. In addition, in the context of Western modern art concept and the Chinese localization of language and concepts are mixed of art, the Chinese contemporary painting in the1990s in the creation of western modern art concepts and language patterns and integration of the elements of Chinese localization characteristics. The modifications and integration create a visual image and have a new aesthetic value and significance. Finally, during the background of economic globalization, the art market, to face the choice of the market and the West, the international art system, contemporary painting will inevitably be utilitarian tendencies and dependency phenomenon, how should we face and solve, this is a question worth considering.This paper is divided into four parts. The first chapter defines the nineties Chinese Contemporary painting concepts of academic. The second part makes a comb and analysis of the1990s painting process. The third part through the creation of thought and mainstream styles analyzed the concept of transplantation and language icon of the nineties contemporary painting practice. The last part is important to reflect on the issues presented by contemporary painting process in the1990s. In this paper, for the field of contemporary paintings between1990and1999, some important art events in the development process and sort out the creative thought and empirical analysis, summed up the analysis from the perspective of the artists:First, the Contemporary Chinese painting in the1990s with the characteristics of the draw in the creation of modern Western art concepts and language patterns while incorporating elements of the Chinese localization. The modifications and integration create a visual image and have a new aesthetic value and significance. Third, on the one hand, we should learn from the West and then establish a Chinese contemporary art values. We are faced with a wide range of discourse resources should be established that the discourse of good Chinese-style system and return to the demands of the localization. Contemporary Chinese painting in the1990s was diversified liberalization of the trend is clearly an artist during the artistic creation and concept exploration to stand a certain height, rational thinking and to identify.
