Chapter One introduced “ErYa More Meanings in a Lemma” at first, and summarizeddiscusses from scholars throughout of the history. Then, this chapter introduces study aboutErYa from Wang Yin-Zhi, Hao Yi-Xing and Huang Kan, to show the reason why we chose itas the sample. Finally, this chapter showed the status and shortages of the research in “ErYaMore Meanings in a Lemma”. Besides,this part also told us the significance and methods ofthis article.There are three main elements in Chapter Two. The first one, listing all the entriescontains “More Meanings in a Lemma” identified byWang Yin-Zhi, Hao Yi-Xing and HuangKan, which is the panel of this article. The second one, to comparative analysis of the resultsof these results, and find out the similarities and differences that exist between them. The thirdone, identify the cause of these differences through analysis, which containing differentresearch methods, different materials, and different understanding of these material.Chapter Three focused on explaining the terminology they adopted in identifying “MoreMeanings in a Lemma”, which contains identifying-terminology and analyzing-terminology.Besids, Another focus of this chapter is to analyze the methods they distinguished betweendifferent meanings. In order to achieve this objective, Wang Yin-Zhi combined Synonyms intoa single phrase; Hao Yi-Xing distinguish between them on the pronunciation differences;Huang Kan used the same methods with Wang Yin-Zhi.Chapter Four mainly discussed their methods that is used to demonstrat the resultsidentified by themselves. Wang Yin-Zhi mainly used counterargue method to prove hisconclusions about “More Meanings in a Lemma”; Hao Yi-Xing not only justified hisconclusions on the significance, and also from a sound perspective to illustrate the problem;In this section, Huang Kan used very similar methods with Hao Yi-Xing.On the basis of the results which are finded-out by Wang Yin-Zhi, Hao Yi-Xing andHuang Kan, Chapter Five updated on the classification From the perspective of two new brand, which on the one hand, is the number of the word used to explain the meaning of otherwords, on the other hand, is the number of the Significance of the word used to explain themeaning of other words. From the perspective, this charpter divided “More Meanings in aLemma” into four categories, which is Polysemous classes, Single Semantic class, SeveralExplaning-words and Single Explaning-word.
