Xuan Ding is an outstanding literaturist of Qing Dynasty. He loved literature and art verymuch, especially in the classical Chinese novel and drama studies.The essay focuses onYeyuqiudenglu, hoping that it can elarate Yeyuqiudenglu in a comprehensive way.This paper is seprated into four parts:The first part is about Xuan Ding’s life, thoughts and works. Firstly, it have a test on thedate xuan ding’s birth and death; Secondly, it details the main experience by stages; Thirdly, itprobes into the thoughts of Xuan Ding,which are rated as contradictory collection.The second part analyzes the profound thought of Yeyuqiudenglu.It exposes andcriticizes the reality of last phase of Qing Dynasty,and focuses on the darkness in politics.Butin a symphathy tone, it describes the people’s fight against the feudal authority; Inaddition,the novel puts emphasis on traditional ethics,which manifests the viewpoint of savingthe world through the education of ethics,and then it is concerned with the folk arts of QingDynasty, which is an indispensible achievement of this novel.The third part is the research on the Female subject of Yeyuqiudenglu。This chapter firstcheeked the times of Xuan Ding and his thoughts, then carried out classification investigationon Yeyuqiudenglu.The fourth part is the research on artistic characteristic of Yeyuqiudenglu. This chaptermainly researched the polt designation, the personage image，language style, romance,symbolism and so on.The epilogue based on the research of front four chapters,then madeobjective valuationon Xuan Ding and Yeyuqiudenglu, given Yeyuqiudenglu a newly allocation on Chinese novelhistory and Chinese history of literature.
