In recent years, Mindmapping is continuously blended into various branches of teaching,and constantly being extended in professional breadth. As a tool of mind, the function ofMindmapping began to draw teachers’ attention, and start to be applied in different disciplines.However, we have found that, Mindmapping still did not give full play in various branches ofteaching, and just acted as assisted teaching tool, the study only stayed in Mindmapping’sapplication level, with not much case in the specific teaching situation, and not goodconsideration of Mindmapping in integration with structure of specific discipline knowledgeand teaching strategies. Therefore, regarding the situation of instructional development ininformation age as background and strategy of the prefabricated language chunks in theprocess of writing English as starting points, the papers use Mindmapping tool to generateprefabricated language chunks, which expand a new teaching way for writing, and go onrelevant empirical research on the effectiveness of these strategies. Through the empiricalteaching and verification of related issues, the outcome is that the generation of prefabricatedlanguage chunks strategies by using Mindmapping has good effect. And through the languagechunk of senior group and sophomore group of data statistics and analysis by SPSS software,we reached the following conclusions:(1)Instructional Mindmapping can be used as a mind teaching tool in traditional teachingclassroom,and will have a certain great teaching function in English writing.(2)The experimental groups applied Mindmapping generating strategies in their teaching.The quantity of prefabricated language chunks of experimental groups has more than that ofprefabricated chunks of control groups by using general way, and The teaching modes ofprefabricated language chunks by using Mindmapping are feasible, which can getcorresponding amelioration in empirical teaching.(3)The teaching mode of prefabricated language chunks by using Mindmapping arefeasible and can be improved in the teaching practice.(4)The number of prefabricated chunks has positive correlation with the performance of English, and has negative correlation with the numbers of grammar fault. prefabricatedlanguage chunks by using Mindmapping have language portability.(5)Teaching strategies of prefabricated chunks by using Mindmapping havecomprehensive applicability in different grades.
