With the Stimulate Package2project bringing about cultural capital and creative industry scheme has increased the opportunities and challenges for Thailand. However, in reality, this scheme may be seen as a threat to economic growth. The purposes of this research were (1) to study the relation between cultural capital and creative industries;(2) to study the cultural capital factor affecting to change of creative productivity in Thai creative industry; and (3) to study problems and obstacles of Thai creative industries.Based on the cultural capital affects on creative industry, this research paper further studies with a qualitative assessment of the relation between cultural capital and creative industry which ultimately found that three main keys:the similar core of culture and creative industry, creative industry development, and creative organization. The first main key analyses how to definite culture become to cultural capital which it depends on compared characteristic between creative industry and culture capital affects on creative industry development, it depends on cultural capital is the core of resources to develop the creative industry, changing the human resource, supporting the creative industry, and the indirect ways to impact of creative industry. The last main key the cultural capital impacts on the way of creative industry, market structure, and competitiveness.The research estimation was; using the ordinary least square (OLS) to evaluate the cultural capital impacts on the tenth of creative industries during the period of2002to2008. The major research findings indicated that the cultural capital is a factor causing the change of creative industries productivity. Its result showed that cultural capital increased1percent, the total productivity also increased to0.0219. It meant that the Thai cultural capital is advantage of the creative production factors, the demand in business, related and supporting creative industries.This paper studied with a qualitative and quantitative analysis which ultimately found four government’s strategies for support the cultural capital to be able to achieve in the creative industries.
