The relationship between politics and ethics has always been a concern of thinkers. Aristotle’s thought about politics and ethics plays an important role in the history of ideas. The idea of Aristotle on Political Ethics can be considered the pursuit of ethical value orientation in political purposes. His thinking is in order to achieve the common good of the city-state citizens. In the present-day conditions, examining the Aristotelian political ethics deeply is to find the theoretical resources to fit Politics and ethics.Aristotle’s thought on Political Ethics is produced in the declining Greek city-state society. The city-state system is a characteristic of Greek civilization. The rise, development and decline of the city-state system provides a social background for the formation of Aristotle’s political and ethical thought. Its philosophical foundation is Rationalist philosophical thought in ancient Greece.The main content of the Political Ethics of Aristotle include:(1)The core specification of political ethics is justice;(2)The middle road is the basic principle of political ethics;(3)The citizens and city-states are the practice subjects of political ethics;(4)Virtue, goodness and happiness are the practice objects of political ethics;(5)The practice means of political ethics include education, the fine form of government and the rule of law. The political theory of Aristotle thought and its ultimate purpose is through education, good regime and the rule of law and the practice of political ethics means and method to realize the practice of political ethics the main body of the citizens and the city-states and the practice of political ethics of virtue, virtue and happiness of object unity.Aristotle is the pioneer of the Western traditional political science. He has also made great achievements in ethics. In order to evaluate his thought on Political Ethics correctly, we should start from the historical and social environment which he lived in and fully recognize the historical limitations of his thinking. We should critically inherit his thinking that beyond the class and history and scientifically analyze the significance of his ideas to reality. In the process of analyzing Aristotle’s thought on Political Ethics,the practical significance of its administrative ethical thought is the focus of this part. It can give an important theoretical reference in building the political and ethical system compatible with the times.
