Nowadays, our country pays more attention to the high vocational education, so the reform of high vocational education can not be avoided. This article is based on theories of PBL(Project-based Learning) and Action Research, Synthetically Appling Document Analysis Method, Content Analysis Method, Classroom observation, interviewing method, questionnaire method and Action Research, etc. to study the teaching of High Vocational School’s New Practical English on Project-Based Learning. This article divides into three stages.First of all, research of theory. In this period, the author read a large number of related articles and summarized the elements, operation procedures, relevant theories of PBL(Project-base Learning) and the connotation, procedures and significances of Action Research, etc.. Meanwhile, the author ensure the object and significance of study, and make a foreshadowing of practice stage.Secondly, teaching practice stage. In this period, the author chose two majors’students in Economic Management Department of Zhangzhou Institute of Technology to carry out three rounds Action Research. On this basis, the author summarized the teaching model of High Vocational School’s New Practical English on Project-based Learning. During the Action Research period, Classroom observation, interviewing method, questionnaire method were used extensively, and the schemes of Action Research were improved perpetually.Finally, summary stage. The one semester’s three rounds Action Research fully demonstrated that teaching of High Vocational School’s New Practical English on Project-based Learning is workable and superior, it can improve the students’English comprehensive ability commendably. What is more, Teaching flow chart was summarized from these three rounds Action Research, so as the following strategies:use the global idea to guide Project-based Learning; The team cooperation spirit and individual subjective activity are the same important; make full use of information technology tools; correct our attitude towards the works,which can be extended to the study of other English courses, and even other courses in High Vocational School field.
