In the rapid development of global integration,it is one of the signs of being a qualified citizen of the world that we can master a foreign language,especially English.In our country,senior high school is the key stage to cultivate qualified foreign language talents.Therefore,the importance of foreign language education(English Language Teaching)in senior high schools is self-evident.Students on the design and practice of high school English and guidance students in project-based English learning.First,it analyzes the current situation and existing problems of English Teaching in Sichuan local high schools,and puts forward the feasibility of combining thematic learning with English Teaching in senior high schools.On the basis of the research results of research study at home and abroad,based on the software and hardware of case teaching and combining the teachers and students in the case teaching,this paper designs the two class teaching cases.According to the project-based learning step,I use questionnaire surveys,and interview methods from the two aspects of theory and practice,the questionnaire survey,interview and student achievement and research results were analyzed from two aspects of quantitative and qualitative analysis.Through the analysis of the implementation process and results of the project it is effective.Project-based learning in the senior school English teaching be judged.I drew two conclusions as the follows:1.Project learning can be implemented in English teaching.2.Project-based learning can improve self-learning ability in English learning and students' interest.
