Research On Disputes Over Historical Celebrity Resource In Henan

With its profound meaning, historical celebrity is an important kind of culture resource, including eminent people in history as well as relevant culture relics. In recent years, historical celebrity resource has been attached with increasing importance in various areas, which caused many disputes about the hometown and graveyard of eminent people in the process of protecting and exploring celebrity resources in China. As a result,"the Fight for the Hometown of Celebrities" became a hot issue in the society. Located in the center of the Central Plains, Henan is particularly abundant in historical celebrity resources. Due to some history and practical factors, Henan is facing a big problem of historical celebrity resource disputes, which is reflected in both number and influence. Therefore, it is a project of great realistic significance to trim and analyze the existing disputes over historical celebrity resource in Henan and find out corresponding solutions to them in the process of exploring culture resources and developing cultural industry in Henan.This thesis consists of six parts. In the introduction, the author explains the reasons for choosing this topic, interprets some important concepts involved in the paper, and states the current studies in this field. Chapter One briefly summarizes historical celebrity resources in Henan according to time. Chapter Two analyzes the disputes over historical celebrity resource in different regions in Henan, and points out some features of them. Chapter Three explores the reasons for those historical celebrity resource disputes from the perspectives of history and reality, and gives some corresponding assumptions from the angles of governments, academic circles and common people. Chapter Four makes a case study of the hometown of Zhuangzi. And the conclusion discusses how to view disputes over historical celebrities and how to protect and develop culture relics.Generally speaking, there are always historical reasons behind historical celebrity disputes, such as lack of knowledge about relevant materials, different places of the same name, change in administrative division, and the inconsistence between the birth place and living place of a historical person. However, reality factors play an even more important role. Historical celebrity deputes in some places involved in the thesis are actually a kind of game transforming culture resources into industrial economics driven by practical interests. As to how to view historical celebrity resources and relevant culture relics and deal with the relationship between the protection and exploration of historical celebrity resource, it is a practical problem to be constantly explored.
