Ballad And Proverb Of Modern Wuhan City Life

As the folk oral literature, ballad and proverb is from people’s creation which is the voice of people and the summary of people’s wisdom. It’s the voices of angels beyond expression. As time goes by, a lot of Wuhan ballad and proverb has disappeared. We can aftertaste the charm of Wuhan dialect, call to mind the joneses of our childhood, browse the customs of time, and feel the wisdom of life from ballad and proverb which is preserved. There are many Wuhan citizens’ real lives in it.The present thesis attempted to make a study of modern Wuhan city life based on ballad and proverb, including three parts:political life, economic life and the life of townspeople. Explain the characteristics of ballad and proverb, the development and culture of modern Wuhan city life by the contents of ballad and proverb. The paper divides into three parts. The first is fast changing political life, characteristics and functions of modern Wuhan’s political ballad and proverb. The second is dynamic economic life and economic culture. The third is wonderful public life including daily life and leisure life and finally from the ballad and proverb reflect modern Wuhan civic culture. Putting the ballad and proverb into a specific time background is to restore a modern outlook of Wuhan city life, show the cultural connotation of the city; on the other hand digging some function, expanding some research value. The main points of this paper are as follows:First, ballad and proverb is the precious historical materials of Wuhan city life. It can fully display the specific period of Wuhan City in all aspects of life.Second, reveal the culture of Wuhan in order to establish the Wuhan city image and create the brand of Wuhan city culture through the deep analyzing.Third, ballad and proverb’s research value is not only the historical materials and the function, but also can trigger other aspects’deep thinking. For example, think modern Wuhan business organization system and the awakening of Wuhan citizen consciousness. Finally, expand the research value of ballad and proverb by a deep excavating.
