Packaging is a creative thinking activity, designers should not only with the transfer ofgoods to consumers visual language to express emotion product attributes, but alsocommunicate with consumers, communication, insight into the consumption psychologyactivity and emotional appeal. Packaging was described as a product’s coat, reflect the valueof the products is an important part. Emotional appeal is a form of modern packaging, is thedesign fans prefer the important research object, it is through the "rich of the milk of humankindness" plane graphics, image and color and so on many kinds of forms, to adapt and meetmodern psychological demands of the consumers. Modern packaging design emotionalappeals emotional communication, not only the consumers of the functional requirements ofthe product to meet, but for product integration, more aesthetic factors and the value ofcultural enjoyment appeal.The status of packaging have ascended to and other fields of science, the development ofpackaging design space also indirectly reflect a nation, a nation’s economic and culturaldevelopment level. Emotional packaging design is to improve sales and meet consumers’ of apackaging form, it can convey commodity information intuitive, bring consumer kinds ofemotional experience, different packing brought to consumer emotion experience is different.Such as: strong ethnic flavor and not the design concept of modern packaging design, cangive a person to return uncut jade to return true feeling, In China, we have five thousand yearsof cultural foundation, we can be collected the essence as a key element of packaging design,design with national characteristics of the modern packaging design.This paper will fully the packaging design knowledge, the behavior of peoplepsychology knowledge, in order to empirical and access relevant information research method,the analysis of the current consumer spending psychological tendency and consumption trendof the motive and the corresponding product packaging change trend, the research analysisnow of emotional factors in packaging design play an essential role, product packaging designthe emotional communication way and meaning.
