A Study On The Interjections And Modal Particles In Xianning Dialect And The Corresponding Relationship Between Them

The interjections and modal particles are important means to express humanity’s thoughts and feelings, and the abilities of comprehending and using them will always affect the conversation directly. But the research of them is not as rich as that of the other terms. We hope that by the exploration and research to the interjections and modal particles used in Xianning dialect, this article not only manifests the dialect characteristic, but also deepens the study of interjections and modal particles.The thesis includes the following five parts:Part one is an introduction to the definition of the corresponding relationship between interjections and modal particles, the Xianning dialect and the research background of them. The research theories, research mentality, research technique, and the source of language material of this paper are also presented.Part two is about the ontology research of the interjections used in Xianning dialect.36relatively common interjections are listed and the intensive study on their pronunciation and semantics is the key point. Through this, the characteristic and the basic outlook of interjections used in Xianning dialect are fully exhibited.Part three is about the ontology research of the modal particles used in Xianning dialect.18relatively common modal particles are listed and the intensive study on their pronunciation and semantics is the key point. Thought this, the characteristic and the basic outlook of modal particles used in Xianning dialect are fully exhibited.Part four is about the analysis of the corresponding relationship between the interjections and modal particles used in Xianning dialect. The correspondence subjects and correspondence elements are illustrated, and the correspondence types are emphasized.Part five is the concluding. The research work is summarized. Simultaneously, the limitations of this thesis are also pointed out.
