With the development of information technology and the change of teaching methods, more and more classroom teaching are trying to make out a new teaching mode, in order to get better teaching effect. The goals and requirements of education are pursuing for improving the quality of teaching. The mode of cooperative learning is a relatively mature and newly teaching method which experts and teachers are fond of, moreover, collaborative learning’s advantages are also obvious.This research is to describe and summary the process of teaching in English vocabulary based on the practice of cooperative learning. Mainly combining the benefits of cooperative learning in group study and the characteristics of English vocabulary teaching, It is to give some advice on English vocabulary teaching and some help for teachers.The author Collects data through the practice in the classroom, and uses video analysis, speech analysis, and the questionnaire surveys and interviews and other methods to analyze the data. The basic structure In this paper is as follows:The first chapter, interprets the background and significance of this research. And through analyzing the present situation of domestic and foreign cooperative learning and English teaching research, proposes the feasibility of this research. The last of this chapter writes the research contents and research methods.The second chapter, this chapter is for the definitions of related concepts.The third chapter is the study of a design process, including the activity design of collaborative learning and evaluation of the design, to prepare the practice process.The forth chapter is the process of practice. Through the analysis of learners and contents, combined with the second chapter’s study design, the author makes practice in classroom. At last, is to collect data and information for the preparing of later analysis.The fifth chapter, based on analizing the collected data and materials of practice and process, verify the effects of learning from study participation, interaction, motivation and interest and test scores in four dimensions using the former evaluation method in chapter two.The sixth chapter, according to the results of practice of collaborative learning in English vocabulary teaching, is to put forward the suggestion, and summarize the research innovation and deficiency, also analyze the existing problems, hoping to follow the practice research to provide some reference.
