The Research Of Huang’s Daughter Bao Juan

In the early twenties of the twentieth century, modern scholars started to pay attention to the research of Chinese Bao Juan. Until eighty years, from" a history of the phenomenon of folk culture and rap form" angle, Che Xi-Lun began to focus on literature Bao Juan research(mainly folk Bao Juan), which improved the research of the time. Modern scholars analyzed the cultural meaning in-depth of the Bao Juan from different discipline and angle. Focused on the" Huang’s Daughter Bao Juan", this paper attempted to display the existence of woman-meditation in the ancient folk society, on the analysis of text and data collected by historical and literature records. The most important thing was to discuss the folk ethics and beliefs behind woman-meditation behavior from cultural setting.This paper is divided into three parts:The aim of the first part is to explore the origin of Huang’s Daughter story, and analyze the text, spread and influence, summarize the story’s type. According to the study, it was proved that Huang’s Daughter story formed in the special literature and religion environment of the Song Dynasty. This story stepped over different art forms, from north to south of Chinese folk place. With this spread, the story gradually effects on Buddhism. and shows its independent value of folk religion and culture.The second part, on the basic of analysis of Huang’s Daughter story, it was found that Huang’s Daughter Bao Juan has focused on displaying the interactive relationship between religion and folk literature. As a result, it’s going on narrating the religious story in the folk society during the long time. There have been some new changes in Huang’s Daughter story in the history. Thereby the story’s description completed so successfully to establish this classic folk religious literature image of Huang’s Daughter.The third part, combing the development of the practice stories from Huang’s Daughter Bao Juan" this classic story, it was much deeper to understand the woman-meditation story", which contained the association in women’s religious and secular life during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.As a case study,"Huang’s Daughter Bao Juan", extending to the woman-meditation story that’s big cultural phenomenon, showed the statement of the ancient woman’s life and belief. Through this paper, on the one hand, I hope I can catch the academia’s attention on the existence of the practice woman in traditional society. On the other hand, we can make a new understanding and evaluation about the folk Bao Juan to the community in the new historical period, which is represented historical and cultural product of the ancient Chinese culture, to promote the inheritance and development of traditional culture.
