Research On Right Hand Brushing Techinique Of Pipa

Pipa is one of the Chinese traditional musical instruments, there are many performance technique and abundant artistic expression. Brushing is basic playing method by right hand in performing, it has important effect to timbre of Pipa.From the beginning, this paper summarizing the afference of Pipa and it’s history of playing method transition, then combining the practice from the view of acoustics, analyzing the many factors which affect the brushing timbre of Pipa. Finally binding score case to give an account for the diversification development of Pipa brushing method and abundant artistic expression.The author want to give player enlightenment and composer inspiration so as to promote and develop artistic expression of Pipa by systematic research and explanation of Pipa brushing theorv.
