Theoretical And Experimental Study On The Change Of Timbre In Pipa Performance

Mr.Wang Fandi,a famous Pipa artist and educator in China,has repeatedly emphasized in his works and teaching that technology serves timbre and timbre serves music.The theory of seven technical means of changing timbre is put forward.Based on the relevant theories of music acoustics,this paper only carries on the acoustic spectrum analysis of the timbre change caused by the "change of the direction of strings",and more rationally verifies Mr.Wang Fandi’s relevant theory,so that I can have a deeper understanding of it.
