Aesthetic Idea Character Of Dancing Action Language In Chinese Contemporary Dance-drama

In this paper, the aesthetic idea character of dancing action language in Chinesecontemporary dance-drama was discussed and analyzed, majorly focusing on thecontemporary dance-drama productions after the founding of the PRC in the lower half of the20th century.Dance-drama image is the major object of dance aesthetic activities. The aestheticrequirement in dance-drama creation is to create characters and show contents by applyingdance measure. And dancing action language is an important measure to create dance-dramaimages.The academic research and study on the aesthetic Idea of dancing action language indance-drama, is a subject concerning the issue of beauty of form in dance. Dancing form isperformance practices, composition and presence of all factors in dance productions, whichincludes dancing language, dancing structures and dancing genres. Dancing action languageis the most characterized factor in dance artistic category. The artistic functions of dancingaction language can be divided into two types, lyric and narrative.Language in dance-drama includes dance actions and action groups which expresscertain feeling and emotional contents. Dancing action language is foundation to createimages, and major measure to narrate and express feeling. Dance-drama images can not beformed without dancing action language. Therefore, dancing action language is a veryimportant factor to compose a dance-drama. In order to promote development of dance-dramacareer in our country, the academic research and study on aesthetic idea of dancing actionlanguage in Chinese contemporary dance-drama is very necessary.Chinese contemporary dance-drama has a relatively long time span, with richproductions, which provide a lot of study materials and instances for the research. Among alarge number of productions, three representative dance-drama productions are chosed forfurther analysis,"Red Ladies Army", which was classical model operas in20century,"Mrs.Yuqing", which focused on human’s inner world feeling,"Water Moon", which pursued apurification prospect. The author attempts to put dancing action language into aestheticpropositions such as lyric, narrative, reproduction, expression, in order to reach basic recognition on the aesthetic idea character of dancing action language in Chinesecontemporary dance-drama.
