There aretwo points on Hume’s ethics characteristics，first, Hume based his ehticson the theory about human nature,and every one has basis ofmorality,which is founded on humen nature. Second,Hume believemthat moral just not an education theory,our understanding of morallearning from the perspective of practice construction.Hume’s ethics not only inherited and perfected the theory of theancient philosophers, but also gave much influence on later thoughts such as utilitarianism、Rawls’s politics. The opinion to care aboutimportant of emotion in Hume’s ethical thoughts is indispensable andvital for our society’s moral construction. Now days more and moreproblems appear with the development and the improvement of themarket economy, the reason is more and more people to pursuematerial life and the world’s diverse value systems impact on thetraditional moral system. It is important to pay attention to Hune’semotionalism ethics in our daily life according to learning the reasons ofsome phenomena and problems in real life.such as the problem of “isand ought”,it’s ture meaning is that the value judgment,which takes“ought” as copulation of propositions,is foung in valuefields——controlled by sentiment,rather than fact fields——controlledby reason, it can teach us how to respect others, and it is exactly thepractical significance that is given by Hume’s ethical thoughts.
