Conceptual Integration Theory comes from the cognitive psychology area. It becomes the main stream of cognition research now. Conceptual Integration Theory was originated from the mental spaces hypothesis in psychology, proposed by Gilles Fauconnier. Then, this theory was developed by Fauconnier himself and his friend Mark Turner, who is also a famous cognitive linguist. Furthermore, the discussion on mind and language becomes intense again. At the same time, English as an international language develops rapidly not only on its range of use, but also on its word formation. As time goes on, more and more new words turn up in our daily life. With the passion of studying English better, this essay makes an analysis of English Neologism from the perspective of Conceptual Integration Theory. In order to discuss this topic better, studies are conducted from different aspects. All of the Semantics, Morphology. Pragmatics and the Intercultural Communication are main steams of linguistics and a complete discussion is fulfilled from these aspects. By using a large quantity of example words, one internet station named Word Spy helps a lot. It is a public website on which words are renewal at any times. There are also detailed explanations of neologism, the earliest appearance and other links for usage of new words. Based on many analyses and discussions, the result of the hard work turns to be various Conceptual Integration Modes. Besides, the understanding of Conceptual Integration Theory becomes deeper and deeper. It shows the way how we think while learning a new knowledge, why we remember some words that way. According to this, a scientific method of words remembering is recommended. What is more, a simple association shows up on the developing tendency of language, and it will offer help to other related topics which we need to discuss in the future.
