A Study On Development Situation And Strategy Of Culture Industry In Jilin Province

China has become the world’s second largest economy since2011, which still keeps fast yet steady economic development even during the spread of the international financial crisis. In the complex situation resulted from the downturn of world economy and difficulties of domestic enterprises of small and medium size, the economy of China in the first three quarters still kept the growth rate of more than9%. Facing a series of economic data which bring pride to the beholders, the leadership of the communist party of China is still prepared for any eventualities. As pointed out in the Sixth Plenary Session of the Seventeenth Central Committee, the modern world is in a great development, great change and great adjustment period. Therefore, the position and function of culture becomes more prominent in the competition in overall national strength, which makes it urgent to strengthen the cultural soft power and the influence of Chinese culture upon the world.Viewed nationwide, despite the30years of rapid development of reform and opening up, the economic power of Jilin province is still relatively backward and the cultural industry is not very well developed. Nevertheless, Jilin province has always had an accumulation of profound cultural tradition. Therefore, through analyzing the cultural industry development track of Jilin province in recent years, presenting the problems, characteristics and the future trend of the development of cultural industry, we can further identify the potential and advantage in the development of Jilin cultural industry and formulate scientific and rational ways and countermeasures with strategic vision and sustainable development. And this will forcefully boost the revitalization of northeast old industrial base construction, especially the fully realization of fast yet scientific development of cultural construction and economic society in Jilin province. The development of cultural industry precedes the revitalization of the old industrial base of the Northeast. The ultimate goal of the revitalization of northeast China especially Jilin province is the all-round revitalization of the whole society, which should cover politics, economy, culture, education, science and technology, etc., among which the revitalization of culture should be the most important layer in the sense of this word. At the same time, it will also become the core factor in promoting soft power and the coordinated development of different fields. And against today’s international and domestic setting, developing cultural industry with emphasis has become the road we must take in cultural rejuvenation. The prosperity and development of cultural industry in Jilin province has very important practical and historical significance to the revival of the old industrial base of Jilin. Based on a thorough investigation of the current situation of cultural industry in Jilin province, this paper objectively analyzes the advantages and disadvantages in the development of cultural industry in Jilin province, and in the light of the problems existing in the development some countermeasures are put forward so as to boost the cultural revitalization and prosperity in Jilin province.
