The Research Of TV Series Adapted From Four Generations Under One Roof By Lao She

In1985, the namesake of TV series adapted from Lao She’s literary original Four Generations Under One Roof, had produced a sensation, which had became the first successful television series adapted from novel. Then, Four Generations Under One Roof presented in front of audience by re-photographing in2009, which had attracted much focus from both academic and art fields.This paper selected the TV adaptation of Lao She’s works Four Generations Under One Roof as the object of study, and analyzed a comprehensive of the aesthetic appearance of heterogeneous media narrative conversion and different carrier, and then try to explore the theoretical analysis and practical guidance of entire literature adaptation.In addition to the conclusion, the paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which include the overview of the purpose, the research status and existing problems of the research, and noted that the content and method of this study.The second part described the narrative conversion between heterogeneous carrier, and discoursed from the narrative plot, characters, style mood in different media carrier conversion point. Added and deleted or made some changes to the plot, and to complete the narrative adapted ways from character actor, action to lines to shape the film character, and to analyze the penetration of family culture and Beijing Style Charm from novels to film.The third part is about the aesthetic appearance in the film language. The film’s two-dimensional reproduction covers the visual elements and aural elements. From the TV series Four Generations Under One Roof footage, the paper discussed its visual representation of light colors and clip stunt. And also analyze the play auditory elements as the language, music, sound.The last part of the paper explored the film adaptation in the context of age. Contrasting to the adaptation of the old and new version of Four Generations Under OneRoof TV series, and in order to expand the summary discussion about the literary adaptation of the basic conditions, and the film adaptation of skills. The research provided theoretical innovation and practical direction for literature film adaptation.
