The Resourch On Chomin Nakae’s Thoughts

Chomin Nakae’s thought includes two aspects, namely social and political thought and philosophy thought.In Chomin Nakae’s view, the whole nature and all of the things in the universe are in a trend of development, this kind of trend is called "natural evolution of the situation." From the evolutionary perspective, regardless of type of political system and form of the external variety, it can be reduced to three absolute monarchy, constitutional monarchy and democracy. Freedom is the part of his social and political thought. One of the two basic elements of freedom is called free mind, and the other is called the act of freedom. Civil rights thought is the third elements of his social and political thought. He attaches great importance to the status and role of freedom, or even regards it as the fundamental difference between people and animals. Thinking about the right of the people’s uprising is the most revolutionary and positive content in his social and political thought. He said:the innovative majority of people, people with independent sound personality, people with a high political awareness and people with political participation and enthusiasm can ensure the civil rights from inviolability, they together created the real democracy.Atheism is the basic constituent elements of Chomin Nakae’s philosophy of materialism. Involving the relationship between material and spiritual problems, but he consistently adhered to the position of materialism and emphasis on:the human body is fundamental, spirit is only the physical activity of the human body. Chomin Nakae’s Epistemological thought is coordinated with his materialist ontology, in terms of its epistemological content, it includes four aspects, namely shows in the world, writing on the mold, windows and the subjective and objective. Chomin Nakae believes the objective material world in front of us can be known, the reason is that the spirit has the unique ability-the ability to directly experience the whole world. In the issue of the understanding Source, Chomin Nakae claims:objective reality outside our minds is the only source of knowledge, it can be said, understanding is the external reflection of the objective things in the brain. He further believes that since the understand is from the external objective things, then the people’s feeling plays a pivotal role on this understanding, because all the external stimuli first act on our senses and then can be printed on mind. In addition, he also focuses on the interaction of subjective and objective. Moreover, In the position of atheism, he criticizes the existence of God, and the view that God made everything and in the level of practice, he also refutes the existence of religion. He unequivocally stands on the side of materialism, draws a line with the theism and idealism, moreover he holds the idea of pure substances.Chomin Nakae’s thought has its advantages and strengths, there are limitations. But it is undeniable that his thought is a valuable asset and outstanding heritage in modern Japanese civilization.
