The Research On The Expression Of Degree Of Yueyang County Dialect

The thesis explores on the expression of degrees of Yueyang County dialect. The Yueyang County dialect is in the border of Xiang dialect and Gan dialect. We discovery that the Yueyang County dialect is different from the Mandarin and other dialects in the degree methods to some degree. The Yueyang County dialect has various forms of expression of degrees of, including reduplication, stative adjectives, degree adverbs, degree complements and so on. It expressess the strong degree or weak degree with these forms. This article mainly chooses the three angles: semantic, syntactic, and pragmatic. And we lay emphasis on the comparis with Mandarin and other dialects, in order to make an overall investigation and study on the expression of degrees of Yueyang County dialect to the best of my ability.The paper consists of introduction, four chapters and conclusion.The introduction is a brief introduction to the basic situation of Yueyang county and the present research situation on the Yueyang county dialect, the research methods, purpose and the meaning of this article and the source of the examples.The first chapter Expressing the degree with these adjectives. It mainly describes and analyze various representative eclipsed forms, including fully eclipsed forms, unfully eclipsed forms and other lively degree adverbs.The second chapter Expressing the degree with the adverbs, mainly describes and analyze several typical additional degree adverbs and degree pronouns which act as adverbs.The third chapter Expressing the degree with the complements, mainly describes and analyze some set degree complements of Yueyang County dialect.The fourth chapter Expressing the degree with other assistant methods. We do analysis and studies on it mainly from the stress, tone, drag sound, tone modified tone, pause, attached particles of speech, adding interjection and so on, in order to fully reflect the features of expression of degree of Yueyang county dialect.The conclusion It mainly summarize the content of the full text and conclude the the basic features of expression of degree in Yueyang county dialect.
