| Bel canto is a kind of singing form which originated from the birthplace of Renaissance Florence Italy in the end of16th century, and spread to another main music center of Italy in the17th century. It has over400years of history from now on. During this period it improved and developed a lot. Bel canto has been accepted by the world and it has become one of the most wide spread art form.Bel canto has swarmed into china with European advanced culture thought since the May Fourth Movement broke out in1919then was respected and loved by the music pioneers. Through more than10years of development, the art of bel canto was gradually accepted and it established its leading position in vocal music field of education by1930s and1940s, after the liberation, the art of bel canto ushered its unprecedented opportunity of development in china, and then there came out the first peak of its development in a new china. During the period of culture revolution, the development of the art of bel canto in china has stayed the state of stagnant for the influence of various factors, in the later period of culture revolution, especially after the3rd session of the11th congress held the system became better and approaching perfect day by day. Whether in the aspect of performing teaching or the extent of popularity, it ushered its new golden age.Inner Mongolia locates in the north of our homeland, adjoin Russia and Mongolia and it is a shining star of the north of China. Bel canto was introduced to China in1920s but it didn’t spread and develop in Inner Mongolia until1940s due to a series of limitation like region limitation carrier limitation language limitation culture limitation and substance limitation.If we want to search for the origin of bel canto art in Inner Mongolia, firstly we should talk to the first professional group under the leadership of the Chinese communist party in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region---Inner Mongolia Art Troupe. The Inner Mongolia Art Troupe initiated the new chapter of culture business of the Inner Mongolia region, and it also injected fresh blood for this old land at arts fields. The art of bel canto in Inner Mongolia can date earliest back to the late1940s in the last century, and its pioneer is the first generation soloist of Inner Mongolia Art Troupe-------Mrs Gao-wa Aodeng. Until late1948, the Inner Mongolia Art Troupe compiled the first modern vocal music teaching material after collecting and sorting out the materials. This textbook has been believed to be the earliest teaching material in our region at present. The textbook introduced systematically Western vocal concept at that time, which gave a direction of Inner Mongolian The art of bel canto in its infancy.At the beginning of new China, Inner Mongolia was also involved into the argument of old or fashion which was bubbling with noise in the music field in our country. To be old or to be fashionable, that is a question. It caused a fierce debate at that time. After learning chairman Mao’s speech the forum of art in Yan An. Meanwhile, a number of professors from inside and outside areas have devoted to Inner Mongolia bel canto business and trained a group of talents. They laid a solid foundation for Bel Canto art’s popularization and development.. After the Culture Revolution, especially in1978, the Third Plenary Session of the11th CPC Central Committee is convened triumphantly and under the party and the country’s care, our culture and education career have won the unprecedented development. At last, Bel Canto turn to its boom period in Inner Mongolia.The scale of art and literature has been expanded. More and more classical plays and excellent works turned up. Maestros led by Dedema, Nashun,Alatai and Wunite,have made the bel canto art in Inner Mongolia come to the world stage and made it a kind of famous and splendid art form with the ethnic and geographical characteristics of Inner Mongolia. Bel canto art is a great leap in Inner Mongolia. The teaching of bel canto flourished after The Third Plenary Session, which embodies as continual development of educational level, continuous improvement of educational facilities, logical development of teacher team, diversity of educational mode, popularization of the Bel canto art and so on. All phenomenon imply that bel canto education in Inner Mongolia has developed continuously and narrowed the gap of advanced education level in the world.At last, the author gets a preliminary conclusion. This is if we want to carry forward bel canto in Inner Mongolia, We must walk a way that combine it with our local arts and mutually melt into each other, so that we can bring out best in each other.
