The drama nationalization has been one of the theater focuses on the topic. The May Fourth Movement, a dialogue-based drama imported from the West, setting off a modified old plays, create the boom of the new drama, traditional opera should not be completely negate, do not become the focus of discussion on the literary worth preserving. As a veteran of drama history Ouyang Yuqian can not avoid this problem naturally. He not only created the drama script, but also performed the opera, reformed of traditional Chinese opera, and founder of the school drama education and practice experience that the attitude of the traditional opera:in the tradition based on the creation of the latest and most beautiful of Dramatic Art. This paper attempts to start from the the Ouyang Yuqian inclusive theater thinking, from the description of the creation of national content, the shaping of national character and national spirit, promote the three aspects of the vitality of its powerful nation in the drama, and his opera reforms stage practice of drama creation.The paper consists of introduction, conclusion, and three chapters:The introduction lists the drama the nationalization exploring the historical process through the background analysis of the drama’s growth, and finishes the Ouyang Yuqian’s theory of drama and artistic practice in academic circle.The first chapter describes of Ouyang Yuqian the inclusive theater thinking, which is divided into three parts:the first part writes his love of Chinese drama. On the one hand he studied opera performances, on the other hand, strived to create drama script. The second part discusses his theory of the creation of western drama and creative method, and closely integrated with the Chinese drama. The third part writes he transmitted the drama thought of Chinese and West to future generations and trained a group of excellent actors by the practice of drama education.The second chapter focuses on Ouyang Yuqian’s drama works of national vitality which is divided into three parts:the first part display his drama of national life vividly. Mainly from the Western theme, the modernization of the historical themes and real life take care of three aspects. The second part discusses the drama with the characters of the full national character. Particularly national character not only strong, brave, and also contains a weak, selfish, and the main personality traits were analyzed. The third part discusses the national spirit embodied by the writing of national content and shape the national character. And analyze national style and national content relationship.The third chapter discusses the practice of drama the nationalization interpretation which is divided into three parts:the first part discusses the spiritual heritage of traditional Chinese opera aesthetics, from the realistic and impressionistic analysis, illustrates Ouyang Yuqian’s drama creation will Realism and impressionism perfect together. The second part from the start of the Ouyang Yuqian the opera reform; he successful used of the beneficial ingredients in the drama to the drama of creation of specific experience.The conclusion affirms Ouyang Yuqian’s contributions and achievements in the drama nationalization and points out that the nationalization of the drama is still a long way to go, confront and rich traditional operatic arts in the traditional, to create the people of Dramatic Art new tradition.
