Since the the drama was introduced into China,how to forge this fresh form into an artistic form with Chinese style and Chinese manner has become a realistic problem that dramatists must face and solve.Li Jianwu 's drama is an excellent model for the exploration and practice of Chinese drama's nationalization.The national consciousness of modernity and the nationalized artistic expression of modernity constitute the main characteristics of his plays.However,the research on the nationalization of Li Jianwu's drama has not yet formed a systematic in the academic circles so far,scattered and repetitive phenomenon is prominent,most of the visual angle of the study still remain in the simple comparison between his dramatic works and traditional opera arts,while how to create a moden drama with national characteristics through the organic fusion of these two dramatic styles is not further discussed.After studying Li Jianwu's dramatic works,this paper analyzes the generation and modern creation of his drama and national character from the aspects of content and form,and clarifies the positive role of his exploration and practice in the process of nationalization of Chinese drama.The full text is divided into three chapters,with an introduction and conclusion.The introduction part discusses the origin of this research,mainly from three aspects:Firstly,according to the trend of nationalization of modern Chinese drama in the 20th century,clarifying the necessity of research;Secondly,based on the voice of the sound,defining the basic connotation of nationalization of drama,and demonstrating the rationality of research.Thirdly,integrating and summarizing the academic achievements of Li Jianwu's drama,and then analysis research feasibility.The theme of the first chapter is the nationalization of the content of Li Jianwu's drama,which is divided into two sections.The first section discusses Li Jianwu's play on the national life in a comprehensive way,from the two aspects of Chinese western subject matter and care for life.The second section revolves around the positive and negative moral qualities of negative morality and old-fashionedness,and discusses the three-dimensional representation of the national character of Li Jianwu's plays from positive and negative aspects.The theme of the second chapter is the nationalization of the art of Li Jianwu's drama,which is divided into two sections.The first section deals with the reference of Li Jianwu's plays to the techniques of classical operas,such as the open structure of dotted lines and beads,the wide and flexible space-time conversion,and the use of"drama" techniques.The second section describes the inheritance of Li Jianwu's plays on the aesthetic spirit of classical operas.It mainly manifests itself in three aspects:the combination of poetic and lyrical moods,the unity of singularities and strange emotions,and the narrative art of grief and joy.The theme of the third chapter is the nationalization interpretation of modernity,efforts are made to demonstrate Li Jianwu's nationalization of western modern consciousness and creative skills.On the one hand,he accepts western humanism,taking care of human nature with Confucian culture and examine tradition with modern consciousness.On the other hand,he draws lessons from western drama skills,using traditional literature and art as background,and completing the modern transformation and personality construction of the drama based on the integration of Chinese and Western drama resources.The conclusion part tries to give a fair evaluation of Li Jianwu and his exploration of the drama's nationalization,affirming contributions and achievements,and revealing the defects and deficiencies.
