McCullough define the grateful disposition as a generalized tendency to recognize and respond with grateful emotion to the roles of other people’s benevolence in the positive experiences and outcomes that one obtains. And when Gan Dai as a kind of emotional trait, the individual should have difference, Characteristics of high individual threshold limit, by others in the help, more likely to appreciate experience, and easy to produce the prosocial behaviors tendency.After a review of related literature, based on the Moral Affect Theory and Affective Trait Theory, Gan Dai validated as a kind of emotional trait, because of its relative stability, having individual difference, the individual high qualities of Gan Dai trait threshold limit is lower than the individual low qualities of Gan Dai trait, in different situations are more likely to stimulate the sense of gratitude, can promote help others behavior this hypothesisTaking college students as panicipants, the paper designed two Experiments. Experiment1adopted a2x2between-subject design, In the neutral situation, made a distinction in the effects on helping and re-helping behaviors between different traits subjects2(high,low) x2objects of helping (stranger, helper), Experiment2also adopted a2x2between-subject design, Through design different emotion states (positive emotion Indebtedness) x different traits subjects2(high,low) help others behavior and active help others behavioral responses.The result of these experiments proves that GanDai as a trait of individual differences, high qualities of the characteristics of low by fields test whether in positive emotions situations or sense of situations in owe to help others object, whether have helped his or strangers, easy to arouse the sense of gratitude, make more helpful behavior.
