As the Chronicles of the Han Dynasty·Bibliraphic Treatise says,"The Analects of Confucius "is answering his disciples and the disciples phase words and then heard the Master of the language."" The Analects of Confucius "in the form of quotations reproduction of two thousand years ago which reproduced the teaching and studying situation, a large number of distinctive disciples active of them. To appear the disciples in the book, on the basis of "The Analects" with reference to the "Historical Records","Jiayu","Zuo Zhuan","The Book of Rites" and other documents, to know the basic situation of these disciples:on the one hand do something like examination their identity to Chen Kang, Meng Yizi, Nan Rong a group of fourteen, to inspect the non-doubts about the disciple’s life, family background, etc.; the other hand from the mentoring relationship on further exploration of these disciples, to full their images; After Confucius died, Confucian differentiation arose, each disciple holding its own idea to establish self-reliance as sectarian, they inherited and developed Confucianism. They are the direct recipients of Confucianism and the first accepters. It’s continued from Confucius and initiated the following Si Meng Xun of the Confucianism, so they played a crucial role in the formation and development of Confucianism.
