Research And Source Of Reference Of Li Yangbing’s Seal Script Style

This paper purposes to reveal aesthetic characteristics of Li Yangbing’s seal script by taking advantage of pictorial analysis. The paper consists of four parts:Part Ⅰ probes the cultural gene of his seal script, includes two parts:the cultural and aesthetic background in Tang Dynasty and the influence of seal script development in early Tang Dynasty on Li’s seal script style. Part Ⅱ focuses on the aesthetic and creational ideas in Li’s seal script works. It consists of the analysis of Li’s seal script masterpieces and aesthetic characteristics of character pattern. Part Ⅲ makes the pictorial analysis of Li’s seal script and the aesthetic compare, which happened between pictorial pattern of Li’s seal script works and seal script works in Qin Dynasty, Han Dynasty and contemporary fellows. Part Ⅳ is the epilogue, which shows the further influences of Li’s creation.Through the study of Li’s seal script character pattern and calligraphy brushwork, quest his creation ideas, this paper analyzes and compares character pattern between Li’s seal script works, and works in Qin Dynasty, Han Dynasty and Li’s contemporary. By the same time, the paper makes a study of style characters in Li’s works and historical contributions.
