The Research And Practice Of Li Yangbing's Seal Script "Right And Strange"

This paper intends to take Li Yangbing’s Xiaozhuan script as an example to explore how the "Zheng and Qi" categories mentioned in traditional Chinese literary theory are embodied in the art of the Zhuan script.Li Yangbing devoted all his life to the intensive research of seal script and his ambition to realize political ideals with seal script.This enabled his seal script to reach another peak since the Qin and Han dynasties during this period.Starting from the origin of "zheng and qi" in the field of calligraphy,this paper endows this pair with a new connotation of seal script.Taking Li Yangbing’s seal script as an example,this paper discusses in detail the inheritance and integration of his seal script techniques and learning script sources.At the same time,the author according to the theory to guide the creation of practice,combined with Li Yangbing and different periods of seal calligrapher works between the correlation of writing research.The study of seal script should lay emphasis on the self-requirements of the thought of calligraphy,ancient studies and cultural studies.The original intention is to hope that students of the Zhuan script can understand the meaning of seal script from the technique itself.
