Novel shapes have produced bythese which are derived from the tradition but different from the traditionin the visual language and this new experience is also the spirit and targetof contemporary ceramics. Meanwhile, new ways of holding and takinghave appeared in the ceramic vessels with personalized andemotion.When the hands contact with the vessels, the feeling has crossedthe category of material media and is endowed with spiritual enjoyment，which provides more possible ways of taking and holding for people inthe modern ceramic vessel. And it verifies the problem about shape andholding that is worthy of attention and exploring.Through discussing theceramic vessels, modeling and emotional problems, we explore themethod of combining ceramic with wood, metal and bamboo rattan in thecreation of the ceramic vessel, the new holding way and the newexperience of holding emotion.
