The Study On Albeniz And The Iberia Suite

Spanish piano music become one of the enthusiasm piano school because ofit’s colourful, characteristic, comprehensive. In the history of piano musicdevelopment, there are many excellent musicians, Isaac Albeniz is one of them.Albeniz completed500works in his whole life in different kinds of musicform such as piano, opera, orchestral music,etc, including300piano works whichrepresents his main achievement. Using troditional technique with spanish folkmusic makes the works impressed.Iberia which demonstrate Albeniz’s talent make up of12works with titles.Basic on the spanish music, the work show the ardour, free and heroic by fuseinghigh basic technique and abundant spanish folk music material, dance rhythm.This paper take Iberia as object of study and expatiate albeniz’s creation andhis music style by three parts:-The first part: summarizing spanish history and Albeniz’s life which theresearch work depends on.-The second part: respectively introducing creation features, scale, mode,harmony, musical form, rhythm, dance. These are good for us to grasp the nature ofthese works and promote the information in spanish culture.-The last part: Posting the root of creation of Iberia in aesthetics way；expatiating background of these works, the knowledge and experience of thecomposer, three stage of the creation style, creation technique of these works,objective actuality of the title, amalgamation between form and content,universality andindividuality in creation in art.The paper aim at exhibit the artistic value, historic value, aesthetic value bystuding these works, get the deeper understanding on Albeniz and Iberia, appreciatethe charm of spanish music and Albeniz’s music, broaden the research field, enrichthe teaching content, and advantage the development of Chinese piano music.
