Children’s literature (hereafter CL) or juvenile literature was a branch of literature which includes stories, books, and poems that are enjoyed by and targeted primarily towards children. It played an important and instrumental role in the cultivation of children readers nowadays. But it had a comparatively short history in creation, translation, and translation research."Cultural turn" of translation research took place in the West in1970s. It discovered the translator and brought proper and increasing attention to the research of subjectivity and intersubjectivity of the translator and reader. With the application of intersubjectivity theory, this thesis used research method including documentary research and qualitative research to discuss intersubjectivity of CL translator and reader. It was found that intersubjective relationship between translator and reader kept changing in different periods seeing from the angle of text meaning construction. Both of them were found, excavated, and emphasized during times. Relationship between translator and reader varied according to different emphasis of translation theories. And seeing from the angle of interaction of translator and reader, with the approaching of Network Era, the relationship between translator and reader tended to have some new changes:there are much more direct and rapid interaction between translator and reader; reader have heavier and more direct impact on translator; relationship between them tend to equally virtuous mutual communication. All in all, relationship between translator and reader was becoming more and more equal, close and communicative. |
