Youth Narrative Of The New Generation Of Film

In this paper, the object of the study is Youth narrative of the new generation offilm. In order to make a general understanding and specific analysis of theabove-mentioned film narrative, I chose to use the method of combining CinematicNarrative Literature with Literary Hermeneutics, and overall study with case study.First of all, placing the youth of the new generation of film narrative in the broadcontext of social, cultural and age. Studying its generation and composition, basiccharacteristics, and performance. And point out that youthful piece in the true senseappeared in the new generation of film period, and the characteristics of the newgeneration of film is most fully embodied in its youth narrative. Then, I will focus onthe elucidation of the youth of the new generation of film narrative mode, andperspective of the film’ s narrative connotation as follow:“edge and extreme”, itincludes marginal figures, survival anxiety, extreme experience and breakthrough indistress;”desire and love”, it includes show of the desire, alienation of the love,diversity of the love and queer’s whisper;“growth and transformation”, it includesrebellion and finding, patricide and find the parent, despair and hope, grow up andbe adults. The next, on the basis of the analysis of the narrative theme and theinterpretation of the ideological content, this paper dialysis the narrative mode,structure and language, it contains “originality and experience”,“documentary andfantasy”,“fragments and splicing”,“image and language”, all of this in order toexplore the change and innovation of the film as a cultural means. Lastly, this articlesummarize the significance, limitation and implication of the new generation of filmnarrative, and looking to its rheological and trend. All in all,this part try to sort outthe change and development of the youth narrative mode in this period, and analysisthese narrative mode of humanistic meaning, form and effect. And accordinglyexpect that Chinese film will create more attractive youth film with unique and depthimage.
