Study On The Images Of Marginalized Youth In Mainland China Youth Film Since1990s

The youth film as a type of movie that the image is various kinds. This thesis putsthe Angle at the1990s edge images of continental youths in the film, according todefined identity of the edge of the film,it was summarized as rebellious students youthimage, confused unemployed youth image, helpless young image, as well as alternativeart youth image. And the thesis use the text analysis method to do the specific analysis,and sums up the three characteristics of the image of edge youth in the film:independent rebel, contrariness and absurd behavior, emotional feeling missing.This article presents the edge youth from the marginalization of the backgroundsetting, postmodern expression, audio-visual element symbols that presented threeaspects of the edge image of youth in the film and TV, the paper discusses theinfluence and makes a conclusion that image of edge youth in multiple contextand this paper makes the studies on the social context and cultural context, filmcontext three which are analyzed, including age factor, growing environment, youthsubculture, Chinese and western cultural fusion, contemporary western movie art andthe sixth generation of director generation who highlights personal characters such ascommon influence on edge youth of the main factors.Through the research, this thesis make a conclusion that the edge youth image offilm still exists some problems: in the subject matter, the director pays more attentionto represention of personal experiences and personal ideals that decrease the attentionand discussion on the edge youth as a main part in that time. Therefore, it loses theemotional connection between the characters and actors. In the object matter, theimage of edge youth is exaggerated and it is far away from the reality that it is hard toget the acception the audiences. The matters to be solved first need consider theinterest of the audiences, secondly the director should pay attention to the reality ofyouth and make themselves as audiences and last the image of edge youth should bemore close to the reality.
