Research On Ethical Issues In The Rural Economic Activity

Northwest rural areas have a basic feature with very difficult natural conditions, abundant and complex cultural characteristics, relatively backward modes of production and relatively closed way of life. This feature forms a unique rural economic ethics in the rural economic activity. This paper revolves around each link of the rural economic activity. It mainly research, since reform and opening up, in the northwest rural economic reformation process, rural moral values, changes and characteristics of ethical relationships, in order to grasp the inherent law of moral cultural development in rural economic activity, promoting the construction and development of rural society in northwest of China.This article is divided into three parts. The first part introduces ethical problems existing in each link in the northwest rural economic activity, including the issue of fairness in production field, the justice problems in distribution sphere, the honesty in exchange territory, the thrifty and extravagant trouble in consumption domain.The second part discusses the vicissitudes of the ethics and analyses the reason of the question. First, the thesis points out that the land is very important for every farmer, and the Chinese traditional farmers have characteristics of diligent and taking land seriously. This is also basic morality and accomplishment. Meanwhile, this paper also points out that northwest farmers never give up agriculture, even if they leave their lands and hometowns temporarily when their incomes are low causing the family economy is extremely poor. The desire of becoming rich under economic rationalism control struggles with codes of ethics in Gemeinschaft in farmer’s heart. Second, to arrange reputation in exchange activity of northwest farmers, to analyze credit of advantages and disadvantages during acquaintances, to pursue the ethical condition which is turning to general reputation gradually makes people transform from acquaintances credit to general reputation. Third, in distribution relationship, the idea of inequality rather than want is the cause of trouble is left over originally by northwest farmers, after that they accept the distribution method of more pay for more work progressively. Finally, in consumer activity, as the living standards improving, northwest farmers keep the excellent quality of hardworking and thrifty, meanwhile, the thought of prosperity and peace is installed namely is subtle signs, and the consumption phenomenon also appears gradually.The third part explores solutions of the ethical problems. Those ethical problems exist in four links of the economic activity which is production, distribution, exchange and consumption. In accordance with issue of fairness, we put forward to encourage farming, reasonable compensation. In accordance with justice problems, we make a decision about equitable distribution and become rich, then share together. In accordance with honesty, we make a plan which is we must be honest and abide by word, even fair bargain during business. In accordance with thrifty and extravagant trouble, we present civilization and moderation, the countermeasure of reasonable consumption.
