The Xunzi’s Literature And The History Acceptance Since The20Th Century

The book of ’Xunzi’ was firstly deleted and ordered by Liu xiang of the Western Han Dynasty, but it was not noted until by Yang liang who was lived in the Tang Dynasty. Because of Xunzi were regarded Confucian and the rule of law both as equally as important, so he was rejected all the time by Orthodox Islam, and the status of Xunzi had not been high. Throughout the whole history of XunXue, the study of the literature acceptance of Xunzi’s research were very weak for the long-term. According to this actuality, this work focus on the prominent problems of Xunzi’s literature and the history acceptance during the20th century, to introduce the deep influence of Xunzi for the history of Chinese Literature.This paper was divided into five chapters, the first four chapters were as different sections to discuss the Xunzi’s literature and the history acceptance since the20th century, the first chapter reviewed the situation of Xunzi’s acceptance and inheritance go through the whole passed Dynasty, to discusses the academia of the late Qing period for the understanding of Xunzi’s literary and simply to analyze the recognize of the literary body of Xunzi by the book of "The Xunzi Annals" which was write by Wang Xianqian; the two chapter was make a simple comb of Xunzi text Notes for the Republic, and mainly discussed the literary reception of Liang Qi xiong’s views on "Xunzi" during this period, at the same time discussed the literary interpretation of some scholars such as Lu Xun, GuoMoruo; The third chapter combed the academicconcern of the community Xunzi prose literature for the period from1949to1979; the acceptance of Xunzi’s literature in was divided into the1980s, the1990s, the new era, and the three stages of the new century was discussed in detail in the fourth chapter, on each stage mainly selected the representative note and discussed the key point were focused on the angle of acceptance to study the comments of prominent comment of scholars on the literary value of Xunzi.On this basis, the fifth chapter summarized of the overall situation of the acceptance of Xunzi’s literature since the20th century, and the angles to discussed that was divided into three methods, they were deeper understanding of literary, the research methods were becoming increasingly diverse and constantly open up areas of research, trying to reveal the general characteristics of the acceptance of Xunzi’s literature since the twentieth century, thus to describe the history status and the far-reaching effect of the book of ’Xunzi’ in the history of Chinese literature.
