The Research On Rhetoric Of Wang Anli’s Novel

Bases on the domestic scholar Li Jianjun’s study, this thesis analyses therhetorical skills of Wang Anli’s works to explore his uniqueness of being insipid, inlight of Bous’s theory of rhetoric skills.Chapter one discusses the details of rhetoric skills in Wang Anli’s novel, fromfour aspects: defamiliarizing; poeting; obscuring; abstracting. Through thedefamiliarizing and obscuring way of expressing ideas, the poeting pursuit and theabstracting narrative style, readers can see the unique features of Wang’s rhetoricalskills in his novels.Chapter two embarks on the rhetoric skills from a macroscopic view, related toB’s research in rhetorical skills. According to the factual material Wang uses in writingnovels, the author chooses the view point as the research object. The analysis of thechoice, the contents and the distance controlling of his view point, displays Wang’sspecial and flexible constructing style in the view point, the distance control.Chapter three discusses the rhetoric phenomenon in his novels, from the angle ofrhetoric acceptance, mainly from three perspectives: the adopting context, the adoptingstyle and the acceptance quality.This paper aims to examine the expressing and accepting style in W’s novels tosummarize the rhetoric characteristics of his novels. Moreover, this paper attempts tomake some contribute to the study of Wang Anli’s rhetorical skills.
