What she sees and touches are allabout Suzhou city every day. She watches from the alleys of Suzhou, writes the life inthe alley in the Suzhou’s ambiance, unfolding a picture of Suzhou’s atisticconception.Through the common lives in the alley she shows the usual and unusual ofthe life and the true meaning of humanity.Fan Xiaoqing always takes root in Suzhouto write the brief history of Suzhou,in order to pay more attention to the human’srequirement.The second part is the focus of this paper. Fan Xiaoqing has put emphasis onhumanistic concern. She concerns the people’s living situation and mental state in thecreation of adhere to the position and caring for people’s shed in her short stories, in pursuit of the beauty of human nature and personality. Fan not only shows theimpatient and lonely side of humanity but also the warmth one in the rapidtransformation of this society. She tries to tell people that being natural may be thebest way to exist. What she cares about is various; she shows the migrant workers’hardship and unconventional attitude towards the life. Fan Xiaoqing just concerns onthe real history and lifeand puts her human solicitude about this society into her shortstories. Just like a mirror which can reflect the soul of person, her works show thespirits of human during the changeable time.The third part mainly elaborated the philosophical thinking in Fan Xiaoqing’sworks. The economical prosperity leads to the people’s spirits lack. Facing thedifficult problems of the times, she uses the Buddhist thoughts to explain being mildis important. She intends to tell people that life is full of philosophical wisdom.Because life is filled with uncertainty things and people can’t predict first. But peoplecan stride across by themselves when they are facing the misfortune and suffering.
