Temperament is the earliest after birth has shown a more clear and stable personality traits, due to personality and temperament in infant social development plays an important role in understanding and predicting the future development of the baby has an important significance. So in recent years, psychologists and infant temperament attracted special attention from the relevant researchers, infant temperament has become an important topic of psychological research. Throughout the study found that temperament at home and abroad, and foreign relative to the system of child temperament and maturity compared to the current research in this field in China still seems to be rather weak, especially in research on infant temperament, the cultural background of the structure of infant temperament and development characteristics of other issues to be discussed in depth. Therefore, this research to develop local-based1to3-year-old infant temperament questionnaire as a starting point, the following studies:First, the integrated open questionnaire and interviews are two ways to obtain the dependency on the external behavior of infant temperament descriptive data and to carry out qualitative analysis, drawing and absorbing the existing theory of infant temperament, from Liu wen and Xia Ming Zhu (2005) prepared by3to9-year-old child temperament questionnaire assessing the parents start to the questionnaire by the theoretical analysis, open-ended questionnaire and case tracking methods and the final confirmatory factor analysis of the formation of five-dimensional structure of the theory of temperament concept, not only focus on the actual investigation, and pay attention to theoretical analysis, the preparation of1to3years of age dependency assessed infant temperament questionnaire, sampling at747infants dependent on the data obtained by confirmatory factor analysis, and explore the baby of1to3years old temperament structure.Secondly, in order to further test the reasonableness of the questionnaire structure, the method used singletrait multimethod approach, the experimental method-experimental context, the results obtained with the interview-the parents interviewed, access to research results, and questionnaire results of correlation analysis, questionnaire in order to prove the structure of rational and effective.Finally, the use of the preparation of the infant temperament questionnaire on infant temperament, age and gender differences are discussed, investigated a3-year-old infant temperament characteristics of the development.The following conclusions:1. Preparation of1to3years of age dependency assessment of infant temperament questionnaire form consists of five dimensions:emotional, active, reactive, social inhibition and focus of the questionnaire has good reliability and validity, as assessed effective tool for infant temperament;2. Scores of situational test and interview and questionnaire scores was significantly related to a higher consistency of the three, indicating that the survey results are reliable;3.1~3years old infant temperament development in addition to emotional and social inhibition was no significant age difference, the remaining differences between the various dimensions have reached a significant level;4.1~3years old infant temperament in the focus of social inhibition and significant dimensions of gender differences in performance scores for girls than boys, the rest of the dimensions were not significantly different.5.1~3years old infant temperament’s five dimensions do not existing the interaction of age and sex.
