| The psychologists have been researched creativity for a long time, and acquired plentiful production. Many researches show, there is a high relationship between creativity and personality. For deeply investigating the structure and characteristics of children's creative personality, finding the potential and tendency of special area, Observation, interview, and questionnaires were used to explore the creative personality of children aged 3～5 in this research.Based on an Exploratory Factor Analysis on the self-designed teacher-reported questionnaire of children's creative personality and used Confirmatory Factor Analysis by LISREL software, the structure of young children's creative personality was testified. Correlation Analysis, One-Way ANOVA, Cluster Analysis were conducted to explore the characteristics and types of the creative personality of young children, and the relationship of temperament and creative personality.The major findings are as following:1.The questionnaire of children's creative personality has high reliability and validity so that it can be used to evaluate children's creative personality aged 3～5.2.The structure of children's creative personality aged 3～5 involves nine traits: novelty, independence, sense of achievement, cooperation, self-confidence, sensitivity, curiosity, aesthetic ability, sense of humor.3.Along with the development of the age, the creative personality presents a ripple effect in development trend. There is a distinct age difference in the development of children's creative personality. The 4 year old is the critical period. Chinese children's creative personality has no sex differences, but girls'score of creative personality is higher than boys'.4.Chinese children's creative personality can be divided into three types: cooperation, science, and art, every type has its own characteristics. And the type of art takes the most proportion.
