Human intelligence is inexhaustible, human heart is mystical, human emotion ischangeable. You can’t see and touch it, but it seems to control your mind、behave andthought all the time, and then it influence the development of events and final result. Forthe mystique, psychologist very want to reveal the veil to explore the secrets of feeling.Problem-solving keeps us company at all times, and decides our goals of short-term orlong-term, and resolve whether our ideal could have come true. If you could havesolved every problem perfectly, and could have each process of problem-solving undercontrol, there were nothing beyond control in your life、study and work. The purport ofthe research is to explore how emotion influence on the process of problem-solving.The research contains one preparative experiment and two formal experiments.Aim of preparative experiment is to prove it is affective that music is used to primeemotion. The formal experiments put forward four hypothesis, they are: First, emotioncan’t influence simple questions,and only can influence complicated questions; Second,Subject pay less efforts of cognitive in positive mood, but pay more efforts of cognitivein the negative emotion; Third, Different emotion-valence has different impact ondifferent problem-types which contain left-brain and right-brain advantages; Forth,Emotion has different impact on different stages of problem-solving.Through two experiments, getting the following conclusions: No matter whattypes—multiplication or figure question, the mood of subject has an significant effecton the whole process of problem-solving; Emotion effects strengthen with the increasein question difficulty; Mood has significant influence on the first two stages ofproblem-solving—problem representation and selection operator; And effects of moodon selection operator stage is more than problem representation stage of problemsolving; In selection operator stage of problem solving, subject is inclined to adopt“heuristic” strategy in the positive emotion, and “algorithm” or “surmise” strategy in thenegative emotion; In problem representation stage of problem solving, subject isinclined to use the “image” representation in the positive emotion, and “language”representation in the negative emotion; In selection operator stage, the main effect of the number of selecting policy is significant. That is, in positive mood subject will try inmore ways to accomplish the task.
