Research On Chinese Characteristics In Zheng Chouyu’s Poets

In1950s Zheng Chouyu，who was just in his early-twenties, becamepopular all over Taiwan with his Error. In sixty years of writing, Zhenghas written a large number of excellent poems. Because of a long timespan, there are great differences between his former works and laterworks in content, emotion and writing skills, yet "ChineseCharacteristics" is an image from the beginning to the end, Based on mostof published poems of Zheng Chouyu, this paper will interpret "ChineseCharacteristics" from the theme of homesickness, traditional images of "moon"," wine" and " window", and expression skills. Also, it attempts toanalyze how he makes a creative transformation as well as he follows thetraditions. Firstly, when the theme of homesickness falls to three aspects,namely,"real home",“dreams of home","cultural country", theexpression of homesickness in Zheng’s poems became implicit reserved.Secondly, this paper discusses Zheng’s inheritance and development oftraditions on the basis of the most common images,"moon"," wine", and"window". Thirdly, it analyzes Zheng’s expression from the elegantdictions, meaningful forms and free rhythms. In addition, Zheng Chouyualso expresses his lasting memento for homeland by actions.
