From The "Literary Self-consciousness" Of Letter Times To The "New Literary Self-consciousness" Of Image Times

Since modern times, the research of Chinese literature and literarycriticism by the influence of western culture and thinking being more andmore remarkable,"literary self-consciousness" is a important problemthat birth of this circumstance, since it was put forward by LINGMU-Huxiong and LU Xun, it has been a focus in our knowledge, even inducean big argumentation in the early days of1990s. Today, the discussioncontinues, and our industry is still failed to get a wide recognition verdict,various ideas controversy of each other, presents a "schools of thoughtcontend" spectacle. However, when us to "literary self-consciousness" isstill unable to agree,"literary termination theory" has become a focus. Inmy opinion, through to reevaluate the "literary self-consciousness" andthen establish the standard and for exploration in the critical history levels,then based on this starting point to reflect on the development of literature in image times, will lend ourselves to research the "literary terminationtheory" and "literary self-consciousness" problem for a new method. Wefound that the "end" just means a kind of "new birth" in fact through ourresearch process, that means,"new literary self-consciousness" times hascome.The first three chapters were talked about the "literary self-consciousness" of letter times. The first chapter had trimed the researchhistory and stated the criticism situation of "literary self-consciousness",the second chapter had introduced the concept of "literary self-consciousness", through controvert the two concepts of "literature" and"conscious" to established the core connotation、additional attributes andevaluation standard of the "literary self-consciousness" concept. On thebase of the first two chapters, the third chapter had defined about thefeasibility and time course of "literary self-consciousness". Last threechapter were talked about the "new literary self-consciousness" of imagetimes. The fourth chapter discussed the concept and features of imagetimes, point out the new features of literature survival、development statethat about image times. Chapter5puts forward a new proposition thatnamed "new literary self-consciousness" of image times. Take review the"literary termination theory" of Miller as a breakthrough point, thensynthetized the Chinese literature status and inspiration of "literaryself-consciousness" research of image times, point out "the end"’s essence is "born again" and "conscious", so puts forward the concept of "newliterary self-consciousness". The sixth chapter not only explained the coreconnotation、additional attributes and evaluation standard of "new literaryself-consciousness", but also described the similarities and differencesbetween "literary self-consciousness" and "new literaryself-consciousness", and discussed the theory value and applicationprospect of "new literary self-consciousness".
