Liu Xie’s ShenSi And Literary Theoretical Self-Consciousness In Wei-Jin And The Northern And Southern Dynasties

Wen Xin Diao Long, which was finished in Wei-Jin and the Northern and Southern Dynasties that named Literature Self-Consciousness Times by most scholars, is a great literary theory work. In the essay an analysis on the relation between ShenSi in Wen Xin Diao Long and Literature Self-Consciousness bases on the understanding of modern Literature Self-Consciousness.In the mature cultural context, ShenSi proposition was configured by Liu Xie after analysising the process of offering ShenSi. In the past, most of tscholars forcused on the question that What does ShenSi mean, which equoted ShenSi to the artistic imagination the artistic design or the thoughts of artistic creation. According to this, I put the theory of ShenSi forword to the level that how does ShenSi like in the cultural context of Wei-Jin and the Northern and Southern Dynasties. The theory of ShenSi shows Literary Theoretical Self-Consciousness deeply and comprehensively in Wei-Jin and the Northern and Southern Dynasties, which is the highest level of Literature Self-Consciousness.
