Albert Camus, the1957Nobel Prize winner in literature, became the youngestwinner of France, he deeply affects the post-war generation. He is one of the mostimportant of the20th century western writers. Today, there are more and morescholars devoted to Albert Camus research, but the results of this study mainlyconcentrated in his early work, and research of later work opposite less, so this paperfocused on Albert Camus’s later masterpiece The Exile and Kingdoms, the shortstories although few words, but it was Albert Camus a middle-aged thought transitionspirit projection, and the focus of this article is that through analyzing The Exile andKingdoms of the works to explain Albert Camus middle age of the spirit world.This paper is divided into three parts:The first part proposes the Mediterranean complex of Albert Camus, andemphatically analyzes the Mediterranean complex is how to produce. The middle ageAlbert Camus was obstinately and strongly in love with the nature and the innermotherland Algeria. But this love is off, so forming the Mediterranean complex thatdoesn’t open. Albert Camus is the important heir of the ancient Greek thought, heinherited the Greek spirit of moderate and returning to nature. The Mediterraneancomplex kernel spirit is modest and love.The second part of the paper is Albert Camus’ religious complex. Albert Camusthough is not a Christian, but he is a Wait-and-see religious person. He has beenfocused on the religion he rejected. Next, the process of text in return, the author moredetailed analyzes the religious imagery and the characters of distinctive religiouscolor in The Exile and Kingdoms. At last, it points out that, Albert Camus as ahumanitarian is not entirely without faith, his really belief is the love of the earth.The third part is around the limit against. This is in the face of violence andabsurdity, Albert Camus has looked for the solutions. And it is also Camus’ Mentalbalance point. His limit against even in the21st century today also points out the wayforward for us, and it is also an important component of his spiritual world. Here theauthor from the following three aspects in this paper discusses limit against: thereasons of limit against, the resistance against violence and the reflection of absurdity.
