The local chronicles of Northeast China of Kangxi Dynasty is a batch of localchronicles which responded to imperial court’s encourage.and several versions edited by exileliterati. Kangxi period, to compile Yi Tong Zhi, court is to call for all parts of the country thatcompile annals, Prefecture Zhi, State Zhi and county annals. According to the actual situationof the Northeast China, the local goverment, scholar and exile literati compiled about ten ofhigh levels local chronicles. These local chronicles content political, economic, geography,culture, education, customs and other aspects of Northeast China, and these local chronicles isan important reference material when we research the Northeast history too. The localchronicles of exile leterati not only shows us the real life in their penal colony, but also theprimary material when we research their history. Because this period of local Chronicles alsodiscusses origin, property, function and so on contents of local chronicles, it has a greatsignificance in studying Qing Dynasty local chronicles theory.The type of dynasty regional Chronicles studies have made a lot of researchachievements, but the academic circles study in local Chronicles of Northeast is still limite inthe level of local literature books compiles, of the historical materials edits, redacts directoryindexes. The aspect of specific time, specific local Chronicles study is still in the level ofstudying individual cases, and they haven’t take the Northeast local chronicles of kangxiDynasty as a whole to deeper discussed. According to this condition, this article based on theformer research to discusses the historical background of the prosperity, expounds the basiccontent of the main local chronicles, and compare with local chronicles of other partscontemporaneity and local chronicles of Northeast in future. And analyzes the characters ofthe local chronicles,discusses the academic value and realistic significance of the localchronicles.
