The inscriptions record the lacquer manufacturing time, place and painting name, which provides a reliable first-hand information on study of lacquer manufacture, distribution, etc. With regard to the prosperity of Zhejiang lacquer in the Song Dynasty, in addition to the unearthed lacquer, literature has many records. Zhejiang is the most prosperous manufacturing center in the Song DynastyThis paper regards Zhejiang lacquer in the Song Dynasty as the research object. Through statistical analysis of the unearthed Zhejiang lacquer in Song Dynasty, the paper will summarize the characteristics and achievements of Zhejiang lacquer in the Song Dynasty and expound the production, circulation status by combining the inscriptions written in the unearthed lacquers and the literature, which is trying to recover the manufacture grand of Zhejiang Song lacquer ware, clarifying the status of Zhejiang lacquer in the Song Dynasty and correct understanding of Song Dynasty lacquer production center. In addition, the paper sets the lacquer of Zhejiang as an example to grasp the time style of the Song Dynasty lacquer, with the ultimate goal determining the status of Zhejiang and the Song Dynasty lacquer, strengthening the study of the Song Dynasty lacquer.
