| Temperament is the dynamic characteristics of mental activity, to some extent, which determines one’s way of thinking and behavior characteristics and influences the nature and efficiency of human activities. This study researched the correlation of vocal music learning and performance based on the temperament types. We reviewd the related literatures of temperament and vocal music and combed the temperament definition, classification and characteristics in psychology in this paper. Moreover, we tried to use the methods of combining qualitative and quantitative, and developed a questionnaire about the correlation of the temperament type and vocal music learning and performance on the basis of psychometry and statistics. We investigated the vocal students in China Conservatory of Music and Ludong University and analyzed the investigation data using SPSS (Statistics Product and Service Solutions). We comparatively analyzed the problems encountered in vocal music learning and performance from three dimensions of different schools, different genders and different temperament types and finally concluded17results. For example, the college students are more easily affected by the performance environment than the students of the professional music institutions; the boys like more and are better at singing the soothing and more delicate emotional songs than girls; the choleric students are more confident than the phlegmatic and melancholic ones. We revealed the differences among the different schools, different genders and different temperament types, and made the interpretation of the differences, and finally put forward our coping strategies, which will be of important theoretical reference value for the vocal learners, artists and educators. |
